Role: Data Engineer - Microsoft Fabric

Job Description
This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions within the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem. The ideal candidate will support cross-functional teams by ensuring the availability, performance, and reliability of key data systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and document end-to-end data solutions using Microsoft Fabric.
- Develop ETL processes to integrate data from multiple sources.
- Optimize data models and databases for efficiency and scalability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to meet evolving data needs.
- Maintain high standards of data quality through testing and validation.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and system performance.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends and tools within the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem.
- Support knowledge transfer by training existing data teams on implemented solutions.
Tools and Technologies
Candidates should be comfortable with the following tools and concepts:
- Microsoft Azure: Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database
- ETL Tools: Azure Data Factory, SSIS, or Fabric-native Notebooks
- Programming Languages: SQL, Python, PySpark
- Data Governance: Understanding of best practices for compliance and quality
- Technical Documentation: Ability to clearly document processes and workflows

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- At least 3-5 years of experience in data engineering
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric and medallion architecture
- Solid understanding of data architecture and database design
- Proven ability to manage complex data solutions in fast-paced environments
Preferred Skills
- Relevant Microsoft certifications
- Familiarity with Microsoft Business Central
